First Evening Performance[]

Good evening.

l am extremely proud of this production as the sequel to The Lion King Musical. The quality of the cast, pit orchestra, stage crew, and committees is outstanding. However, a truly successful production as the sequel involves more than what is presented on stage. It should not only be an artistic learning experience but a personal one as well. I'm incredibly proud of the cooperation, mutual respect, level of commitment, and teamwork that has been demonstrated by everyone involved in this production as the sequel to The Lion King Musical. These students have put egos aside and discovered that whether they had one line or fifty, were on or off stage, everyone shares equally in the pride and success of such an accomplishment.

Also, you are going to listen to French played by the voice actors from Middlebury to English played by the actors as the translation.

Also, no. This sequel's name to The Lion King Musical will not have Kiara, Kovu, Nuka, Vitani, and Zira. The sequel will have new animals including tree frogs. For example, Mama Tree Frog is Reina's mom. She wears a pink dress and a lily pad. She has a sombrero hat instead of the yellow hat from the stop-motion Korean video.

We have live (tamed and trained) animals from circuses, farms, bird centers, and the wild including tigers, elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, vultures, macaws, eagles, ostriches, camels, crocodiles, and llamas.

We have costumed and puppeteered animals from The Lion King musical including the return of the lionesses and the guineafowl.

You will see the 2 cheetahs appear in the opening of Act 2, with the trained birds being flown and landed offstage or above our auditorium. By breaking the fourth wall, the use of trained birds allows us to re-engage with the style of the production as the sequel after the 15-minute intermission.

This sequel to The Lion King musical is an educational show like Etienne (the stage name of a Canadian musician) to learn French to English (like the Translator).

This show's length is 92 minutes.

You can see a lot of animals that we have in the sequel.

After the opening song, you'll listen to Timon saying to Simba and the cheetahs, "Wait. Wait. Wait. So, just to be clear, we're NOW in this sequel?"

Then, you're going to listen to Pumbaa saying to Simba and the 2 cheetahs, "Oh, Timon! There's only one sequel with all of us. Tell the story of the tree frog in our sequel!"

Simba will say to Timon and Pumbaa, "OK. Where's Zazu anyway?"

Finally, when Zazu appears and fusses over the 2 cheetahs, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa (like he did on Mufasa) Timon will say, "You know, I don't feel seen." calming Zazu down as a joke before we see the frog house with the lily pads.

Please enjoy, the 92-minute sequel to The Lion King musical and with Conjuguemos Live, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride!

Act One[]

After the Second Act[]

(We hear Cheetah 1, Cheetah 2 offstage as Timon and Pumbaa are on the stage floor.)

Cheetah 2: It is time!

Cheetah 1: It is time.

(We hear African voices as the sun rises up while the two zebras instead of three, nine gazelles instead of twelve and only half of the white bird ladies from the second act appearance instead of four. The two antelopes, the giraffes, the cheetah, three cranes, the rhinoceros, and the two wildebeests still appear with the addition of birds appearing as kites on poles. Then the lionesses appear with the other animals to celebrate the continuing Circle of Life before the animals arrive from the aisles. Through the aisles in the crowd, more worldwide animals arrive. The new animals are a cape buffalo, two sea lions, two trained camels, and trained birds. A peacock, a pink axolotl played by a seven-year old girl, a long-wattled umbrellabird, a Nile lechwe, a walrus, and a wolf arrive on the stage. There was raucous roaring usually greeting everyone's favorite animal in the show, a male trained tiger from the circus! He is followed by the second male trained tiger and ten trained African penguins. Simba and Nala appear with their daughter Kiara on Pride Rock.)

Antelope 2: Bayede! Ndebe sutha!

Khosi m'khosi! Siyabonga baba!

Bayede!

Khosi m'khoski!

Ukele we sizwe! Khosi wen khofu!

Siyabonga baba! Bayede!

Siyabonga baba!

Khwathu ma fikele! Khwene ndaba!

Khwathu ma fikele! Wen o wen khofu

Siyabonga baba! Bayede!

(Rafiki goes over to them and takes the cub Kiara, lifting her into the air as the song draws to a close. The animals below turn to face Pride Rock and bow as Kiara is presented. The song ends with a black out as Rafiki lifts Kiara into the air with Simba and Nala looking on.)

The Story Begins[]

Cheetah 1: Lions, tigers, and bears! Vultures, swans, and peacocks! Reptiles and amphibians! Sea lions and aquatic animals! Welcome to our 92-minute sequel to The Lion King! My tamed and wild animals, how are you doing tonight?

Viewers: Great!

Cheetah 2: We said, how are you doing tonight?!!? I can't hear you!

Viewers: GREAT!

Timon: You heard the cheetahs! (Imitating Cheetah 1) Welcome to our 92-minute live safari tour! (Stops imitating) Oh, wait. Wait. Wait. So, just to be clear, we're NOW in this sequel with 92 minutes?!!!?

Pumbaa: Oh, Timon! There's only one sequel with all of us in our musical. Tell the story of the tree frog in our sequel musical!

Simba: OK. Where's Zazu anyway?

(Zazu appears rushing in to Simba.)

Zazu: Tell one of those, sire!

Timon: You know, I don't feel seen.

Cheetah 1: (To the viewers) Our story begins with a very strange sound that is live. That's right, the drums of a jungle beginning to create something around. Now we imagine the sky.

Zazu: Let's imagine bright blue!

Cheetah 1: It's Reina's pond with tree frogs! That's why the sequel has our tree frogs!

(Cheetah 1 and Cheetah 2 create a blue sky and a pond setting with a tree frog's house and ten lily pads. Jungle drums begin their ambience. Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu watch as Reina's pond is revealed. We see Reina and Reina's mom eating soup and carrots.)

Cheetah 2: (To the viewers) Now think of the tree frog who is smart just like you!

(We now see Reina inside of the house.)

Timon: Reina?

Cheetah 1 and Cheetah 2: Yes, that's Reina!

Timon: Reina is in the sequel! All eyes above on the French to English translation, please!

(The French to English translation turns on.)

Cheetah 1: Let me start from the beginning. Now pay attention! We're going to give you the entire French story to English and there's going to be a quiz on it afterwards. Il est 10 heures du matin. It's 10 o'clock in the morning. Voici Reina la rainette. This is Reina the tree frog. Elle ne fait que ce qu'elle aime, alors elle a choisi et mangé. She only what likes so she picked and ate. Pauvre maman grenouille ! Je pense que le pain est gonflé mais je vais demander à ma fille. Poor Mama Tree Frog! I think the bread is swollen but I will ask my daughter. Restez à l'écoute pour l'arme du guépard !

Reina: I don't eat it! I don't eat it! I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't eat it!

I HATE THIS SONG! We are going to teach Reina to say a French word. This French word is like Ribbit but in a French-like style. Côtelle. Côtelle. This French word will help you in the 92-minute safari. Now, Reina is acting dumb and was saying all the wrong frog calls! How can you be so dumb at all like Reina?

(Zazu, Simba, Timon and Pumbaa laugh at the cheetah's jokes.)

Zazu: Well, Reina is NOT always dumb. She however gets her Côtelle.

Cheetah 2: (cont.) Alright! Sit up straight! Eyes forward! Pay attention! We have announcements for you. (She hits the palm of her paw with the ruler. It obviously hurts and she grimaces, rubbing her paw on her thigh. She reverts to her wide-eyed innocent self.)

Timon: You know, I always know what kind of announcement it's going to be. Because back at the Pridelands and Reina's Pond we have this huge lily pad path to grasslands with the ten wild animals on it. And I always know when the first animal that is a tiger and the tenth and final animal that is a lion, it's time for you to jump on the ten lily pads resembling every kind of wild animal!

Cheetah 2: And now it's time for that quiz that my brother warned you about. (She takes the index cards with the questions out of her pocket and hooks the ruler on her belt.) Okay! Here are the questions that you should have the answers to, if you were paying attention to my brother. Could I have some lights, please? (House lights are up) Oh, thank-you. Now if you know the answer, raise your hand. Are you ready? (She waits for response, which is usually weak.) Are you ready?!!? (Response) Great! Cue the scene!

(We are in the living room. Reina's mom picks her book and sees Côtelle.)

Reina's Mom: Let's do it, Reina. Say it with me. Côtelle. Côtelle.

Reina: OmEEEEEH. OmEEEEEH.

Cheetah 2: Question 1. What kind of noise does Reina make? Is it a bullfrog, tree frog, human, or cheetah?

(Viewers say Bullfrog quietly.)

Cheetah 2: Great! The answer is the bullfrog.

Reina's Mom: You are smart Cheetah 2, but tree frogs don't cry like that.

Reina: Of course! La grenouille taureau dans la rue latérale crie comme ça. The bullfrog in the side street cries like this.

Reina's Mom: Non. No. The bullfrog croaks like that but tree frogs DON'T croak. Let's do this again. Côtelle. Côtelle.

Reina: Hey! Hey!

Cheetah 2: Next Question. What kind of noise does Reina make? If you guess shaman, you're correct again.

Reina's Mom: Cheetah 2, you are smarter than the viewers.

Reina: Of course, Mom. Le grenouille chaman pleure comme ça. The shaman frog cries like this.

Reina's Mom: Il imite un chaman humain. He imitates a human shaman but tree frogs don't cry like that. Let's do it one more time! Côtelle. Côtelle.

Cheetah 2: Come on, Reina. You can do it!

Reina: Oh! I got it! I got it! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot!

Cheetah 2: (Laughs) You said it backwards, Reina! Great job!

Reina's Mom: (Sighs) Just say Côtelle instead of backwards!

Reina: Why? C'est pareil! It's the same! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot! Ha! This is the backwards version! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot! Tellecot! (Laughs)

Cheetah 2: That's hilarious! Reina, you made your mom go crazy!

Simba: Hey! I got an idea! This song is called Pride of Animals! Make sure you sing it in the right way about you'll find in a zoo. Sing along with Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu! Sing with us!

(We see the night background. We hear crickets chriping. We see Reina sleeping quietly in her bed. Timon, Pumbaa, the cheetah storytellers, Simba, Zazu, and Mama Tree Frog gather around her.)

Zazu: Sleep, my Reina.

Simba: You're destination is the grasslands.

Cheetah 2: Be proud of yourself. Don't give up. Sleep tight.

(Simba, Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa, and the cheetah storytellers sleep in Reina's room.)

Wake up, Reina![]

(We see the sunrise. Mama Tree Frog has finished vaccuming. She wakes up Simba, Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa, and the cheetah storytellers. But Reina is still sleeping.)

Reina's Mom: (to Reina) Wake up, Reina.

Reina: I'm so sleepy.

Reina's Mom (to Reina) I said wake up.

Reina: Oh, Mom! I need to go back to sleep!

Reina's Mom: (Sighs)

Zazu, Timon, Simba, Pumbaa and Cheetah Storytellers: (Laughing)

(Suddenly, Reina wakes up and hears the vaccum. Reina picks up her hat and goes to the vaccum.)

Reina and Zazu: STOP THE VACCUM!

Reina's Mom: T'es tu réveillé? Did you wake up?

Reina: Yes, I did wake up.

Zazu: Reina's right, mom. She DID wake up!

Reina's Mom: Je viens de me réveiller et j'ai commencé à passer l'aspirateur. I just woke up and started vacuuming!

Reina and Zazu: That means... Give me that bag so we can go on an adventure.

(Mama Tree Frog goes to Reina's bedroom and picks up the bag.)

Reina and Zazu: We'll go!

(Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and the Cheetah storytellers follow Zazu and Reina until Zazu, Reina, Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba notice ten lily pads in the lake.)

Reina's Mom: Don't go to the grassland! Even if it's a bit near the Pridelands but you need to stay home. Keep in mind what mom said. Don't go to the grasslands! A cobra will appear from the grass and then eat all of our frogs!

Reina: All right, mom so please stop! STOP!

Reina's Mom: Great. You will go with your cheetahs, your hornbill, your lion, your meerkat, and your warthog.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL!

Zazu: Number 1. Tigers come from Asia.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I WANT TO CRY!

Zazu: Number 2. The scarlet macaw comes from South America.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I will go to the grasslands!

Zazu: Number 3. The monkeys gave gone bananas in all of Africa.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I want to see something new.

Zazu: Number 4. Plastic straws are never good for sea turtles.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I will never get eaten by the snake!

Zazu: Number 5. Dolphins like to play in the water and hunt for fish and how many of you saw the dolphin in the zoo and aquarium?

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I want to meet my animal friends.

Zazu: Number 6. The clownfish swims by the reef all day but fish come in different colors, but overfishing is no good for fish.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I want to climb a mountain.

Zazu: Number 7. Penguins are flightless birds and they eat a lot of fish, krill, and squid. How many of you saw the penguin in the zoo and aquarium?

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I want to hide in the cave.

Zazu: Number 8. Elephants are gigantic herbivore animals. Elephants eat tree bark.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I want to climb a tree.

Zazu: Number 9. The giraffe is one of the tallest land animals, but the good news is Trophy hunting is NOT allowed for giraffes.

Reina: RAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I made it!

Zazu: Number 10. We can hear them ROAR! A group of lions is called a pride. Now Reina will begin her journey.

The Tree Frog goes on her journey[]

Cheetah 1: How amazing! The tree frog is using the right direction.

Cheetah 2: That's true. Which road shall Reina take? Left or Right?

Timon: Help us! Which one do you wanna pick? Your choice!

Zazu: Hmm... Reina chose left. Reina chose left!

(Reina goes to the left path with Sonia but was replaced by Valerie in the Coeburn Middle School and South American production version. We see the three frogs from offstage right.)

Sonia (Valerie): Hello, Reina! I'm Sonia (Valerie). We are part of each other.

As you go through life, you'll see

There is so much that we

Don't understand

And the only thing we knowIs things don't always go

The way we planned

But you'll see every day

That we'll never turn away

When it seems all your dreams come undone

We will stand by your side

Filled with hope and filled with pride

We are more than we are,

We are one.

Chorus:

Family, family

We are one (2x)

Reina: If there's so much I must be

Can I still just be me,The way I am?

Can I trust in my own heart,

Or am I just one part

Of some big plan?

Sonia (Valerie): Even those who are gone

Are with us as we go on

Your journey has only begun

Tears of pain, tears of joy

One thing nothing can destroy

Is our pride, deep inside

We are one.

Chorus: Family, family

We are one (2x)

Sonia (Valerie): We are one, you and I

We are like the earth and sky

One family under the sun

All the wisdom to lead

All the courage that you need

You will find when you see

We...are...one.

Reina: Qu'est-ce qui fait peur? What are you afraid of? Je l'aime bien. I love it.

(Suddenly, Charlie, Vert, and Aisha appear.)

Reina: Who are you?

Charlie: Hey! You're a tree frog! The weather is nice. Would you play with us until the rain comes?

Vert and Aisha: Would you play?

Reina (Voice): Shall I play in the grasslands? Little by little, yes! Ok, I've decided! Let's play!

Play the Polling![]

Aisha, Vert, and Charlie: Everyone, get together!

Let's all do Pile and Play (Predator and Prey)!

Having fun! Playing hunting!

Significant predator and prey!

It is fun! It is fun!

Fun hunting predator and prey!

You and me together,

Let’s try Rock Paper Scissors!

Rock Paper Scissors!

Rock Paper Scissors!

RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!

I’m excited to win! We won in the grassland!

Run very fast like a cheetah! Leap like a snow leopard!

Hold your legs tighter!

Fly over your new friend!

You will be sure, you will be sure.

We won in the grassland!

Reina and Aisha: RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!

The Snake's Appearance[]

Cheetah 2: The rainstorm had come in the savannah. There came thunder and lighting! Bang! Kerblam! Reina's mom was long ago. Reina noticed green and scaly. Something GIGANTIC! The scariest animal is heading in your way!

(Venin appears from offstage right stalking Reina, Aisha, Vert, Cheetah 1, Cheetah 2, Zazu, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Sonia.)

Reina: Hey! Who are you?

Venin: Of course, of course. I am the scariest reptile. Do you know who am I? I'm the cobra.

My fangs have venom.

It is dangerous.

My scales weigh a ton.

Stop all the fun.

I have a long tongue. It will be used to strike.

If you find me there, you are going to die! (Cackles)

You look like frog meat. Let my hunt begin!

(Cheetah 1, Cheetah 2, Vert, Reina, Aisha, Zazu, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Sonia began running out of the left side!)

Reina: Run! The snake is here!

Timon: AAAAAAAAAAAH! Run, Reina! Run!

Simba: Go! Run for your life! (He roars to summon the animals. The animals heard Simba's roar and are gathered around Reina and Venin. Reina trips over a rock and sees the snake up close!)

Venin: You look like a hamburger! I'm going to kill you now. STRIKE!

(Venin tries to eat Reina but Reina's Mom appears from offstage left with an umbrella.)

Reina's Mom (with an umbrella): REINA!

Reina: MOOOOOOOOOM!

Antelope 2: (Screaming) Is that?

Reina: Be quiet, you second antelope!

Reina's Mom: Are you okay?

Venin: Oh, lookie here. A pack of animals gathering this time! (Cackles)

Reina's Mom: Those are Simba's animals! Keep my Reina and her friends away from you!

Venin: (Cackles) I'm going to fight you! STRIKE!

(Reina's Mom and Venin started fighting. Reina's mom hits Venin's head with her umbrella. Venin is dizzy and plans one more strike.)

Venin: I'm going to strike you one more time! STRIKE!

(Zazu, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, Sonia, the animals, and the cheetah storytellers watch and scream out the horror and fear as Venin bites the arm of Reina's mom!)

Reina's Mom: This is for you!

(Reina's mom chops Venin's tongue! Reina's mom falls to the ground!)

Venin: AAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAH! My tongue! It hurts! I will never see you again! (He slithers to the tall grass until the veterinarian was offstage getting Venin's tongue fixed.)

Reina's Mom: I'll ask you again! Are you okay?

Reina: Mom...

The Snake Bit Mama Tree Frog's Arm![]

(Suddenly, the lionesses, Nala, and Sarabi appear joining the cheetah storytellers, Timon, Pumbaa, Sonia, Zazu, and Simba for the next scene that is Mama Tree Frog's death.)

Nala: We have bad news for you! Mama Tree Frog was protecting Reina! Je sais maintenant à quel point le serpent est en colère. I now know how angry the snake is. Que faire avec ça? Même si deux jours passent. Was Mama Tree Frog not sure how to wake up at the top? Is there a night when the tears in Reina's watery eyes don't dry up? It would be nice if it was a disease that could be cured by crying. We don't know but let's find out.

The Sad Song of Mama Tree Frog[]

Reina: Mom! Are you OK, Mom?

Mom: I'm fine... but... (Coughs) I'm OK. (Coughs) I'm bitten by Venin. I will always love you. I will die for you Reina. I will pass away. You know me because I love you. (Coughs) (Sighs) Well, I'm going to heaven. I will die for you. Just as you respect the Circle of Life.

When your mom dies,

Bury me in the grave.

I was bitten by the venomous snake.

Don't go to the mountains.

They are too higher.

Ask the river, oh give it to me.

Reina: Are you OK, Mom? Wake up! Good night my mom! MOM! Oh no! (Sobs)

Nala, Sarabi, and Lionesses: (Sobbing)

(We are now in the tomb with a rainstorm that signed: Mama Tree Frog.)

Cheetah 2: (to the lionesses) Stop that sobbing! Right now we've got to get ready for the first act finale! My creatures great and small, get them ready for the first act finale! Eventually, Mama Tree Frog was ascended into heaven. Now, here comes Reina. The vulture made a tomb circling around granting her wish.

Reina: I'm sorry! OH MY GOSH! I'm sorry! Côtelle! Côtelle!

Cheetah 1: Y a-t-il un tel imbécile? What her mother asked me to bury by the stream The vulture did it because I thought her mom would be buried in the mountain if I said that. This is our sad scene in our first act finale.

Zazu: (He hears a buzzer sounding for the intermission.) Time for our 15-minute intermission which means our sad scene in Act One is over. We got to be ready for Act Two this time! You know Act Two. That's right. All the birds flying around you. We must be ready for Act Two so get out and have a nice intermission! The moral of the show, never disrespect your parents. (To the viewers) Get out and have a wonderful 15-minute intermission!

(After the song, however, the beautiful puppeteered birds with kites and the trained birds join the lionesses, Nala, Sarabi, the cheetah storytellers, Sonia, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, and Simba.)

Cheetah 2: Welcome back to our 92-minute sequel to The Lion King!

Timon: Also known as our 92-minute live safari tour!

Zazu: Today, we've looked at Reina in Act One but Act Two is getting started! Are you ready to continue our story? (Response) Great! Now, Act Two begins with Reina running into the tall grass near Mama Frog's tomb after the rain stopped.

(We are now in the open savannah. Reina is walking through the tall grass, chasing a butterfly.)

Reina: Hey! Wait! Come back! I just wanna play! (She sees the butterfly land, and runs to the butterfly trying to be her pet) Ahhh... the mighty hunter has cornered her prey. (Reina's leap takes her up the side of a small rise, from which she can see a distance into the mountains.) Whoah... cool! The mountains! I wonder what's out there.

(A rustling in the grass behind her draws Reina's attention. She turns, and the grass separates. Iris, Serena, Korrina, and Kyururu Kim scream with Reina at each other.)

Iris: What's going on?

Serena: Why are we screaming?

Korrina: Why are we running?

Kyururu Kim: WHAT'S HAPPENING?!!? (Her peacock yells and her penguin brays.)

Reina: (to Kim) SHUT UP! I am hiding on a rock until your penguin and peacock yelled at me! It was super awesome!

(Iris, Serena, Korrina, and Kyururu Kim join the birds, the lionesses, Nala, Sarabi, the cheetah storytellers, Sonia, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, and Simba during the story.)

Iris: (to Simba) Hi, Simba. We are on a safari! And you've joined us! Now after we scream with Reina at each other, a lighting storm appeared and no rain can be seen. They're came two vultures on a tree waiting to kill Reina.

(We see the vultures on top of the tree.)

Turkey Vulture: I am the one who buried Reina's mom alive in the first act. I'm here with my brother. AND WE ARE GOING TO KILL YOU!

(The vultures terrify Iris, Serena, Korrina, and Kyururu Kim, the birds, the lionesses, Nala, Sarabi the cheetah storytellers, Sonia, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, and Simba and began to run offstage left and right. Reina fights the two vultures like Reina's mom did with Venin. Reina goes into the deep dark cave. Iris, Serena, Korrina, and Kyururu Kim have their glowing lanterns. The birds, the lionesses, Nala, Sarabi, the cheetah storytellers, Sonia, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, and Simba watch the scene.)

Reirei: Why have you come back?

Reina: Reirei... I had nothing to do with what happened.

Skua: You don't belong here.

Reina: Please... I ask your forgiveness.

Cheetah 2: Reirei, please... listen to her!

Turkey Vulture: (to Cheetah 2) Silence! Enough!

Reirei: (to Reina) When you first came here, you asked for judgment...

Vulture 2: Give the jackal what she deserves!

Jackal 3: Leave your cave right now! No frogs allowed!

Reirei: ...And I pass it now.

Vulture 1: Kick Reina out!

Vulture 2: That's right! Judgment day is here!

Reirei: Exile!

Cheetah 2: No!

Vulture 2: EXILE HER!

Jackals, Skuas, Hyenas, and Vultures: (All talking madly to Reina)

Cheetah 2: No! Reina!

Jackal 1: Deception...

Jackal 2: Disgrace...

Equal as plain as the tomb on the grace

Vultures: Deception

(An outrage!)

Hyenas: Disgrace (For shame!)

Bass Hyena: She asked for trouble the moment she came

Hyenas, Skuas, Vultures, and Jackals: She can't change an outrage!

Jackal 2: Disgrace

For shame!

Hyenas, Skuas, Vultures, and Jackals: You know these outsider kindness the tomb on the grace!

See you later, agitator!

Just leave us alone!

Jackal 2: Disgrace (For shame!)

Skua: Traitor, go back with your own!

Bass Hyena: She asked for trouble the moment she came

Chorus: Born in greed

Raised in hate

Helpless to defy her fate

Let her run

Let her live

But do not forget

What we cannot forgive

(Cheetah 1 and Cheetah 2 watch Reina climb the top of the mountain.)

Oh! She is not one of us

She has never been one of us

She is not part of us

Not our kind

(Cheetah 1 watches in horror.)

Someone once lied to us

Now we're not so blind

For we knew she would do what she's done

And we know that she'll never be one of us

Vulture 2: She is not one of us...

Jackal 1: Deception

Jackal 2: Disgrace

Jackal 1: Deception

Jackal 2: Disgrace

Jackal 1: Deception...

Cheetah 1: Oh dear! Reina climbed to top of the mountain! Korrina? Are you down there?

Korrina Inside the Cave[]

(Korrina and Zazu are in the deep dark cave calling for Reina.)

Korrina: Sometimes I close my eyes

And say a prayer.

That finally today will be the day.

I watch the far horizon.

No-one's there.

But somewhere you are safe and on your way.

Oh, Reina.. Sometimes I wonder if you're still alive.

How could you survive

Such a dangerous world out there?

Beware my love.

Take care, my love.

Take care.

(Zazu came in next singing his tune of Dazzling Version of Relic Song.)

Zazu: Nobody knows the troubles I've seen.

Nobody knows the kingdom will come.

Reina! Where are you? You did survive! I think Reina is NOW alive!

Reina is alive! She did survive!

Reina's in my side!

Reina is alive! She did survive!

Reina's in my side!

Reina is alive! She did survive!

Reina's in my side!

Reina is alive! She did survive!

Reina's in my side!

Reina's in my side. Korrina, I have great news! Reina is alive. She will go on one more tour, the mountains and the dovecote! Guys! Reina's in the mountain!

(Korrina and Zazu go offstage right leading to the dovecote.)

The Dovecote[]

Cheetah 2: After Reina climbed up a mountain, she went down the mountain and saw a dovecote. Daabi and Quail were in the dovecote feeding the doves and pigeons.

Quail: Hey, Reina!

Daabi: Hi, Reina! We're planning the next song! I want you viewers to sing "Love Will Find a Way." Sing with us!

Daabi: In a perfect world

One we've never known

We would never need to face the world alone

They can have the world

We'll create our own

I'm course being brave or strong or smart

But somewhere in my secret heart

I know

Love will find a way

Anywhere I go

I'm homeIf you are there beside me

Like dark turning into day

Somehow, we'll come through

Now that I've found you

Love will find a way.

Quail, Reina, Animals, Kyururu Kim, Korrina, Cheetah 1, and Cheetah 2: I was so afraid

Now I realize

Love is never wrong

And so it never dies

There's a perfect world

Shining in your eyes

All: And if only they could feel it too

The happiness I feel with you

They'd know

Love will find a way

Anywhere we go

We're home

If we are there together

Like dark turning into day

Somehow we'll come through

Now that I've found you

Love will find a way

I know love will find a way.

Cheetah 2: Great singing. Now, let's cue the second act finale!

(The white doves, Daabi, and Quail join Iris, Serena, Korrina, and Kyururu Kim, the birds, the lionesses, Nala, Sarabi, the cheetah storytellers, Sonia, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, and Simba all together ready for the second act finale.)

The Snake's Appearance Again![]

(Venin appears again with his fixed tongue stalking the two cheetah storytellers.)

Venin: Well, well, well. Cheetah casserole! My favorite cheetah dish. I'm going to strike you just like Reina's Mom! STRIKE!

(The secretary bird appears from offstage right stopping the bite. Aisha, Vert, and Charlie appear joining Reina and the secretary bird. All of the animals join the white doves, Daabi, Quail, Iris, Serena, Korrina, and Kyururu Kim, the birds, the lionesses, Nala, Sarabi, the cheetah storytellers, Sonia, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, and Simba.)

Zazu: We are the backup wildlife. The hyenas, skuas, vultures, and jackals had joined us!

Timon: Oh my goodness! We might just be remembered for being smart to the same prehistoric animal, the Velociraptor!

Zazu: But why does anyone give a tigeriffic idea who he is?

Pumbaa: His continental campaign?

Vert: His religious reforms?

Simba: Well, actually his vocalizations are dolphin, walrus, goose, African crowned crane, horse, and tortoise vocalizations from Jurassic World!

Cheetah 2: Simba! You're a genius at animal vocalizations for prehistoric animals!

Timon: Here's a question for you lions, tigers, and bears! Could it be his extraordinary, strong pack of theropods?

Viewers: YES!

Korrina: (Hearing the responses from the viewers) We thought you so!

Cheetah 1: Lions, tigers, and bears! Vultures, swans, and peacocks! Reptiles and amphibians! Sea lions and aquatic animals! What do you think about Zazu's backup gang this far?!!?

Viewers: (Response) YEAH! Great!

Reina: That's right! Zazu has the backup gang!

Cheetah 1: And now, are you ready to ROCK?!!?

Viewers: (Response)

Zazu: That's right! You heard the cheetah brother! But wait, there’s the final battle in the 92-minute sequel!

Pumbaa: And seeing as it’s our show we can have the ultimate ending we want.

Simba: Lions, tigers, and bears! Vultures, swans, and peacocks! Reptiles and amphibians! Sea lions and aquatic animals! Seeing as you have been such a great zoo!

Timon: We’ve decided to give you our own confrontation of what actually went down all those years ago.

Cheetah 2: That's right, Timon.

Reina: Okay. This is the final battle! Pick some volunteers from the viewers to join the animals and show them the moves!

Sonia (Valerie): Okay, how's a bit of fancy dancing gonna move that?

Lioness 1: With volunteers, we can summon all of the water.

Rafiki: Pack it in behind. It'll go.

Kyururu Kim: It's not gonna happen. That's a whopping pile of water!

Reina: Just try it. Hit the beat hard and together!

Quail: I know how to summon water hard, okay?

Ostrich: Now we’re telling you.

Daabi: Come on, Quail!

Timon: The impact force of compact water under pressure is equivalent.

Pumbaa: Just give it a go, you big wild swine!

(Iris begins to vocalize. Serena and Kim join the entire chorus. All of the various penguins, volunteers, and animals begin fighting the snake.)

Lionesses, Volunteers, and Animals: Pressure

Pushing down on me, pressing down on you

No man ask for

Under pressure

That tears a nation down,

Splits a family in two

Puts people on streets

Timon, Sonia (Valerie), and Zazu: Um ba ba bey (People on streets)

Um ba ba bey (Da de da dey)

de dey da (People on streets)

de dey da.. (Da de da de da de da)

It's the terror of knowing what this world is about

Watching some good friends

Scream! (Let me out)

Pray tomorrow (Pray tomorrow)

Take me higher (Higher high)

Pray tomorrow (Higher high)

Take me higher...!

(Suddenly there was a group of multicolored glowing glowsticks in the theatre's blackout.)

Ostrich: Why...?

Oh! Why...?

Rafiki: (Laughs) Yes, indeed!

Animals: Tell me why, (tell me why 4x)

Reina, Aisha, Vert, Charlie and All Animals: Give ourselves one more chance (one more chance)

Why can't we give ourselves, one more chance (one more chance)

Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love

Everyday, every night, every hour.. (Give love 12x)

Korrina: Come on! Keep it higher!

Zebra: Come on! Come on! Keep love y’all! (2x)

Animals and Volunteers: Cause love's such an old fashioned word and loves dares you

To care for the people on the edge of the night

And loves dares you to change our way of

Caring about ourselves

This is our last dance

(This is our last dance)

This is ourselves!

(Creatures of the world unite, strength in numbers we can get it right- one time!)

(The snake was swept, killed, and washed by a flood. The animals congratulate the volunteers.)

Finale (We Are One)[]

Cheetah 1: The snake is defeated! Congratulations! You're so awesome!

Cheetah 2: Lions, tigers, and bears! Vultures, swans, and peacocks! Reptiles and amphibians! Sea lions and aquatic animals! Do you want one more song? Well then, stay on your feet! Yes, volunteers you're on the stage.

Timon: Sea lions and aquatic animals! Clap your hands! Use your sea lion vocalizations.

Pumbaa: Get your phones out, you’re gonna wanna film this! Oh, and the grubs! Eat grubs during our second act finale!

Simba: But most importantly, get ready to trim your mane, stomp your hooves, ruffle your feathers, make wild animal noises, and dance! Right Vert?

Vert: Yes, Simba! You got to sing loudly with us! Come on to the stage if you please! That's more like it!

Korrina: Make some noise for the aviary animals! Come on!

Kyururu Kim: How about my peacock, zebra, and penguin?

Nala: Now show some love for our doves and pigeons from the dovecote!

Sarabi: Roar voices together with the lionesses, my pride!

Zazu: Are you ready? Lions, tigers, and bears! Vultures, swans, and peacocks! Reptiles and amphibians! Sea lions and aquatic animals! Here we go!

Reina: We are one, you and I.

Simba: We are like the earth and sky.

Korrina: One family, under the sun.

Vulture 1: All the wisdom to lead.

Sonia: All the courage that you need.

Cheetah 2: You will find when you see,

All: We Are One!

Chorus: Family, Family, We are one! (2x)

Cheetah 1: Simunye! (We are one!)

Mina nawe! (You and I!)

Omunye umndeni! (One family!)

Sizonqoba, ngo thandobo! (We will conquer, with love!)

All Together (including Reina, Animals, Korrina, and Kim): We are one, All of us!

Once apart, we all stand thus

United, undivided, one we are!

We will stand by your side

Filled with hope and filled with pride

You will find when you see,

We are one!

Zazu: Well done, everyone. We are one!

After the Curtain Call[]

Timon: You are the greater viewers ever! Please before you leave our 92-minute sequel to our show...

Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa, Serena, Korrina, Simba, Lionesses, Nala, and Cheetah Storytellers: Let's review!

Timon: Who made a braying noise? That's right! A Magellanic penguin.

Zazu: Who made Reina frightened? That's right! A king cobra because Reina is afraid of a king cobra.

Serena: Which animal have we met with flippers? That's great! The sea lions because we have sea lions this time.

Simba: Next questions! Who made Venin killed? What animal do we meet with a white patch? Which birds fly around the show? [A viewer starts to leave the show and then another until the whole viewers starting leaving] Anyone?

(The viewers start meeting the characters when leaving the show.)

Timon: Thank you for enjoying the 92-minute sequel, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.

Zazu: Please exit through the doors to your left and right. As you exit, please get outside the theatre unless you're a real zoo animal.
