Intermission

The term Intermission refers to a space of time that is set towards the middle of the production of a play.

If a play were to have two Acts, after Act-1, Intermission begins, in which the audiance and actors can have a break for 10 to 15 minutes, or however long, before they return to the House for Act-2.
