Synopsis[]

Company is a musical comedy which focuses around its protagonist, Bobby, and his married friends. Company, despite its humour and light-heartedness, also exposes several issues regarding marriage and relationships (all centered around Bobby, who is single), which add a layer of drama to the story. The show forgoes a typical plot, rather focusing on a series of vignettes of Bobby witnessing the various stages of marriage through his friends.

"Being Alive", the dramatic monologue sung by the protagonist at the climax of the story has become a renowned anthem in musical theater.
